Though Johnny Depp is no longer married to his former spouse Vanessa Paradis, back in 2010 Paradis turned heads when she announced that the big-spending Depp has bought her a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo shoes formerly owned by Marilyn Monroe.

The legendary shoe designer Ferragamo famously designed more than 40 bespoke pairs of shoes for Monroe to wear on set while shooting her films, and though Paradis hasn't ever publicly stated precisely which movie Monroe wore the shoes on, there's certainly an incredible lot to choose from.

Pretty much any fashion item Monroe wore on any of her films became instantly iconic, so it goes without saying that, one way or another, Paradis owns a major piece of film history.

If Depp was smart, he would've splashed some cash on Monroe's stiletto sandals worn during the iconic subway grate scene from The Seven Year Itch. Here's hoping.
