4. Michael Biehn - Corporal Hicks (Aliens)
You don't see much of Michael Biehn these days, which is a shame, because Michael Biehn is awesome. He's probably best known for two roles in James Cameron movies: as naked time-traveller Kyle Reese in
The Terminator, and as badass Corporal Dwayne Hicks in
Aliens, a part that you might be surprised to learn was never intended for him, but for actor James Remar, who is sort of like Michael Biehn, but, like, a bad version. And by bad, I don't mean "bad actor." I mean he's more inclined to play '80s bad guys. Biehn is more good. What am I talking about? I have no idea. Anyway, James Remar left
Aliens when he had creative differences with James Cameron regarding his character. I genuinely have no idea what those could have been. Principal photography had started at this point, though, so they needed a replacement fast: James Cameron called up Michael Biehn, and an iconic character was born.
