Unless you've been following the savagery of The History Channel's scripted drama Vikings, you're probably not at all familiar with Katheryn Winnick. As shieldmaiden Lagertha, Winnick absolutely owns the screen every time she appears, with an incredible presence in a role that makes her the epitome of a strong female character. She's a total bad*ss and the best reason to watch the show. In addition, she's got an impressive background to accompany her acting chops, holding belts in both Tae Kwon Do and Karate, as well as being a licensed bodyguard. If you're looking for a powerful woman to go head to head with characters like Thor and Hulk, look no further than Katheryn.
