Honestly you know this one is going to be creepy from the moment you see the resident ventriloquist dummy - and then the rest is history.

The story goes that a mentally unstable man (Corky) is manifesting his most antisocial, uncontrollable impulses by performing through his dummy companion, Fats.

Fats is a vulgar, violent character who works well in performance but is nothing less than a nightmare in the day to day.

As Corky tries to navigate his growing fame as a magician, he struggles more and more to control Fats’ outbursts and increasingly powerful 'influence'.

Chasing after a love interest and trying to suppress your murderous impulses are difficult tasks anyway, never mind when you add a ventriloquist dummy into the mix - and one which you’re sure is trying to bring about your demise, at that!

It’s a quirky, unsettling film with an unpredictable and interesting leading man - believe it or not played by the one and only Anthony Hopkins.
