10 Amazingly Bad Rip Off Films You've Never Seen

Incoherent, abysmally acted and full of stock footage, this Italian rip-off of Dawn Of The Dead might well be the Plan 9 From Outer Space of zombie movies.

Legend has it that the first cut contained so much unusable footage that most of it was junked in favour of sequences ripped from nature documentaries, so when “Operation Sweet Death” causes the dead to rise in New Guinea, the scenes are haphazardly edited together with footage of kangaroos, koalas and elephants.

Strangest of all (no mean feat) is when the heroine attempts to interact with stock footage of a New Guinea burial tribe by removing her clothes, painting her body and wearing what looks like a Frank Sidebottom mask. It’s moments like this that make you nostalgic for 80s horror movies.
