7. The Wasp Returns
The surviving heroes from Infinity War were always inevitable inclusions for the sequel, as were the likes of Hawkeye and Ant-Man, but confirmation that Evangeline Lilly's The Wasp is due to make a comeback is something of a surprise.
Anyone who's seen Ant-Man and The Wasp and stuck around for the post-credits will know exactly why: there's evidence to suggest she was dusted along with her parents.
Despite Wasp's apparent death in the MCU, Lilly told Entertainment Tonight that her character will make an appearance in Avengers 4, and it sounds like more than a cameo. She even hinted at team-up escapades with Captain Marvel.
"You know what I was working, when I was working on Avengers I got to know Brie Larson pretty well, or as much as you can on a film, and her and I talked about it. And of course she's going to be the next titled female superhero, she's going to be Captain Marvel, and I'm sure this will be the beginning of many many more titled Marvel films. Black Widow. Scarlet Witch. I mean I don't know who's next or who's going to get a film, but it's not, it's just the beginning."
This is quite the revelation as it suggests at least some of the characters who perished when Thanos snapped his fingers could have substantial, post-resurrection roles in Avengers 4. Unless Wasp's presence is a result of time travel, of course.
