Rather remarkably, a highly-anticipated new Marvel Cinematic Universe character - the Vision - wasn't actually shown at all in the trailer for Age of Ultron. Vision could potentially provide a key link between the Avengers and Ultron himself - assuming that he's anything like the comic book version, who was created by the villain but soon defected to the good side to fight alongside the Avengers. Indeed, in the Age of Ultron comic book story arc (which we know was very different to how this movie is going to be), he was extremely important, as he was the conduit through which Ultron was attacking Earth from a different time. While we can't predict exactly what role Vision will have in this movie, we do expect it to be highly significant to the plot and the eventual outcome, so don't let his absence from the trailer make you believe that his character is only going to have a minor part - he certainly won't.
