3. Steve Carell
Superhero Qualities: Steve Carell is another questionable actor on this list, I know, but Carell is an extremely talented and versatile actor that has relegated most of his career portraying clever, but bumbling idiots because that is what he is best at. That being said, Carell has proven he can hold his own in a few dramatic films, despite still adding a hint of comedy which leads me to believe he is more than capable of taking on the role of a superhero. Carell is easily a likable superhero based on his charm alone, but he can also accurately embody courageousness and a morally honest person. It's time to take a break from the Brick's and the Michael Scott's and show more complex and emotional acting by taking on a popular superhero. And hey, he also killed a guy with a trident, thats enough action credentials to land a superhero role for me. Potential Casting: Mister Fantastic Fantastic Four is in talks for a reboot, and this is a questionable casting, but Ill throw it out there anyway. Carell has the look and leadership ability to take on Reed Richards, but to be completely believable we have to see a serious Carell. Carell could use a break from comedy and leading the Fantastic Four would certainly be a different and interesting role for Carell.
