6. Kevin Spacey - Superman Returns
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnP8nfRB4g4 Kevin Spacey isn't really known for going overboard with his acting; he's best remembered for his subtle, down-to-Earth performances in classics like Glengarry Glen Ross and American Beauty, but in playing Lex Luthor in Bryan Singer's Superman Returns, he had the opportunity to just let loose and experiment with a louder, sillier acting style. Though many criticised the film for its unconventional approach to the Superman mythos, Spacey received plenty of acclaim for his bonkers performance as the supervillain, which perfectly suited the tone the film was shooting for. Spacey clearly relishes the chance to try something different, and easily his most memorable scene involves him talking to Lois Lane and her son, sarcastically asking her questions before shouting "WRONG!". So popular is the scene that it's even become an Internet meme. In a film criticised for its lack of liveliness, Spacey is a definite bright spot.
