The Lego Movie has finally hit screens, and though expectations were certainly high for Chris Miller and Phil Lord's animation, did anyone expect it would be quite this awesome? The film boasts an impressive 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, and is widely expected to clean up at the box office for the next few weeks, having already broken even against its budget in just one weekend. There's already early talk about how much of a lock the film is for 2015's Best Animated Film Oscar, and short of How to Train Your Dragon being a masterpiece of unfathomable proportions, it seems difficult to imagine any film dethroning it over the next 12 months. But more importantly, let's look back and celebrate those moments that made the film so amazing in the first place, those moments that made us laugh out loud and swell with emotion like any great animated movie does.
