2. Milton Waddams - Office Space
Why He's Awesome: Milton is an awesome character because of how he gets shafted, and his constant non-reaction to it, mumbling incoherently and just putting up with whatever his bosses at IniTech force upon him this week, such as withholding his paycheck or moving him from an office cubicle into the cockroach-infested storage room. Phrases such as "I believe you have my stapler" have cemented his status in the comic pantheon forever more. How He Got Shafted: In the end, I suppose Milton is the one doing the shafting, because after threatening mid-way through the film to set the building on fire, he finally does at the end, taking some company money as he does so and jetting off to Mexico. However, even when he's lounging on the beach there, he manages to complain about his cocktail having too much salt, and threatens to take his traveler's cheques elsewhere. Even in victory, Milton still gets shafted...this time by incompetent bar staff.
