10 Awesome Movie Scenes Trapped In Awful Movies

5. The Day Of The Dead (Spectre)

With the same creative team as Skyfall, the expectation was that Spectre would be just as great. Sadly, 007's most recent outing is frustratingly dreary, needlessly complicated, and worst of all, it feels like a paint-by-numbers Bond movie, a major disappointment considering Casino Royale and Skyfall found enormous success in shaking up the formula.

But its opening scene gave the impression that Spectre could match or even outdo Skyfall, with a flawlessly-executed tracking shot set during Mexico City's Day Of The Dead celebrations. This single shot - with no visible cuts or edits - lasts for almost five minutes, with the camera snaking its way through a crowd of festival-goers, inside a hotel, up an elevator, into a room and out onto the roof, where Bond coolly struts across several buildings before reaching his chosen vantage point.

With a soundtrack that flows through the scene as smoothly as the camera does (when things get romantic, the score simmers down, but that classic Bond theme pumps right back up when Bond's suit makes an appearance), it's clear that countless hours were poured into perfecting this one sequence alone. For the rest of the movie, everyone - including Craig - feels like they're on autopilot.
