2. The Kraken's Death - Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End
I suppose this point means me taking liberties with the franchise and debating its 'rules,' but hey, I'm game for it. What I'm positing is this though the Kraken is for all intents and purposes Davy Jones' 'pet,' so you could argue that when Beckett demands the octopus-faced ultra-pirate kill his game-changer, it wouldn't fight back. Well, it's at this point that I call shenanigans. The Kraken appears to be a monster, and a damn-near invulnerable one at that. Quickly euthanizing such a thing would take a hell of an effort it's not like Old Yeller when you can just take it out back. Frankly, I don't think they make sheds and rifles big enough. So whatever you chose to take this beast down, I've no doubt it'd put up a hell of a struggle, like only cannon-invulnerable sea-beasts can. Yet sadly we didn't get to see it all we saw was a corpse, as depressing as a flopped plastic bag on a beachfront. Honestly, I felt slightly robbed. Watching Davy Jones' undead crew attempt to murder their nautical tank sounds metal as all hell, and we weren't allowed to view such a delight.
