10 Awesome Retro Cartoons That Need Their Own Movies

9. Rude Dog And The Dweebs

A cartoon series launched in 1989 on the back of a character created as part of a line of surfing and skateboarding related clothing. Rude Dog was a punked-up Bull Terrier, who cruised a neon and pastel Beverly Hills in his Pink Cadillac. A cinematic imagining of this pooch and his pals certainly couldn€™t be any worse than the movie Cats and Dogs, though it would probably follow a similar line. Except this canine, with his heavy Brooklyn accent also happens to run an auto shop. Make of that what you will. There was only one season of this show, but the odd characters that made up the dweebs could provide a lot of fun and silliness in a film that doesn€™t take itself too seriously.
