10 Awful Films Arrow Actors Want Us To Forget

4. Rick Gonzalez - Pulse

Rick Gonzalez plays Rene Ramirez in Arrow, a reimagined version of a small-time DC vigilante Wild Dog who is basically Casey Jones minus his shell-backed buddies and plus a handgun. It's a credit to Gonzalez that he manages to do so much with such a limited character to work within.

The same cannot be said of his role in Pulse, a movie most notable for being written and directed by Wes Craven yet missing his heart. This early 2000s American remake of a successful Japanese horror film of the same name falls into all the same traps that all of those movies did, losing the emotional resonance of the originals and overcompensating with more gore and super-shiny special effects.

In the movie, which is totally not known as Veronica Mars Versus The Computer Ghosts in any circles at all, Gonzalez plays the instantly forgettable Stone, who you can see in the trailer right around the time the creepy-voiced horror trailer narration guy starts to ask questions that spell out the concept of the movie to us.

Pulse somehow spawned two direct to DVD sequels despite being more horrific to behold than horrifying.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
