10 Awful Films Arrow Actors Want Us To Forget
3. Katie Cassidy - The Scribbler
It may seem that Katie Cassidy is being unfairly called out in this post so let's give her some credit. Before she starred in Arrow, she had a role in an excellent limited series called Harper's Island that any fan of slasher horror should check out. Her television roles have usually been quite well selected, but unfortunately, her choice in movie roles leaves a lot to be desired.
Take her role as Suki, a woman suffering from dissociative identity disorder, in The Scribbler. Suki has moved into Juniper Tower, an apartment building serving as a halfway house for the mentally ill who aren't completely cured but no longer need institutionalizing. Suki finds herself embroiled in a murder mystery that has several of Suki's other personalities as suspects.
The Scribbler is one of those films that aims for style over substance, but it can't quite hide just how insulting it is to the mentally ill and film lovers in general under all that attempted style. At best The Scribbler is a low budget Sucker Punch if made by a crew who care even less about the film they're making.
