10 Awful Horror Movies With One Brilliant Kill

3. The Rage: Carrie 2 - Monica Jones

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers John Strode
MGM

It's tough to say what's worse, The Rage: Carrie 2 or the totally pointless 2013 Carrie remake.

Brian De Palma's 1976 Carrie is clearly a beloved a classic, and the 2002 TV movie adaptation of Stephen King's tale is pretty darn solid, but the other two Carrie offerings out there are a rough, rough ride for audiences.

Released in 1999, The Rage is a picture that frustratingly attempts to retell the exact same story of its predecessor, just with Carrie White's half-sister Rachel Lang (Emily Bergl) as the bullied young adult who develops telekinetic powers and unleashes them on the d**khead jocks and bitchy popular girls of the day.

Like Carrie, this sequel effort ends with Rachel using her abilities to kill off a whole bunch of characters, and one person who gets a particularly gruesome ending is Rachel Blanchard's Monica.

When Rachel goes full, well, Carrie, she implodes Monica's glasses into the eyes of Blanchard's character. Screaming in terror as blood pours down her face, Monica then accidentally unloads a harpoon into the nether-regions of asshat Eric - castrating him in the process.
