10 Awful Movies Stranger Things Actors Want Us To Forget
1. David Harbour (Jim Hopper) - Hellboy
Everyone wanted to give the Hellboy reboot a chance. It's an underrated comic, Neil Marshall is a great director, and it felt like the perfect vehicle for David Harbour to break into Hollywood.
However, the film was doomed from the get-go. According to Neil Marshall, the producers kept changing the most trivial things like how a line was delivered or how a tree was positioned. It got so grating, Harbour was reported to have stormed off set on at least one occasion.
Even though a troubled production doesn't always translate into a bad movie, this was definitely the case here. As soon as the movie starts, it feels like nobody is trying. The action is forgettable, the special effects appear unfinished, the editing is choppy, and the performances feel half-assed. Also, the continuity is appalling, to the point where Hellboy's Right Hand Of Doom occasionally switches to his left arm. (How can you forget which arm THE RIGHT Hand of Doom is on?)
Even though Ron Perlman's performance as the titular character was beloved in Guillermo Del Toro's films, Harbour lacks the same charisma. Even if you're a fan of the character and Harbour, there's nothing redeemable about this piece of trash.
