10 Badass Villains Spider-Man Should Fight In The MCU

2. The Hood

Kingpin Spider Man
Marvel Comics

A mob boss with a hint of the supernatural, the Hood's role in the MCU would be that of an organised crime-based villain with a lot more to offer than waves of disposable Mafia goons.

The Hood's mystical powers, granted him by some pilfered demonic artefacts, put him in the category of magically-powered characters who wouldn't clash with the feel of the MCU now Doctor Strange is in the mix. The character would help link Spider-Man's part of the continuity with Strange's, along with making for a very different feel to the other Avengers-related movies.

The Hood is closely associated with the Kingpin, and could serve either as Fisk's lieutenant or as a rival, with their gang war catching Spider-Man and innocent New Yorkers in the middle.

The Hood even has history with the Infinity Gems, the sparkly MacGuffins that tie the entire MCU together, and so his character could be used to show what happens when a ruthless killer gets hold of the gems and the havoc that inevitably follows.
