10. Human Experiments (1979)
Human Experiments... Mmmmm.... Sounds like we are in for a lot of fun. Oh the possibilities! And it's a nasty too. So it has to be pretty outrageous? Wrong! Following the exploits of Country and Western singer Rachel Foster who gets herself into a spot of bother with the law, Human Experiments is nothing but a dull, cliched Women in Prison film. It possesses all the usual motifs - big butch dykes, hard as nails guards. We don't even know for sure what the experiments are, except that they are psychological and not physical. So any gorehound looking to see some interesting experiments in this film will be a tad let down. There is absolutely nothing - no scene of note - that marks Human Experiments out as a typical Video Nasty. It is so tame, I have seen more disturbing episodes of Casualty.
