3. The Bat or Bat-Wing
I will be 100% honest, I had no idea what to think when I first saw "The Bat" in the trailers for The Dark Knight Rises. This was unlike any iteration of a flying vehicle used by Batman that I had ever seen. The first time I ever saw one was the Bat-Wing from Batman in 1989. Once the set photos leaked from the Pittsburgh shoot for 'Rises,' there was no mistaking that Batman would be getting some aerial assistance in the final film of Nolan's trilogy. Once I saw it in action in the film, I fell in love with it. One thing is for sure though, I'll never forget the Bat-Wing flying up through the clouds and in front of the moon to make the Batman symbol back in 1989.
