10 Batman Stories That Should Be Adapted Into Animated Films

4. Dark Victory

Darkvictory Dark Victory is the sequel to The Long Halloween, reuniting writer Jeph Loeb with artist Tim Sale. The limited series contained 14 issues, published from November 1999 to December 2000. It takes place during the third and fourth year of Batman's career and centers around a series of murders of GCPD officers by a serial killer known as The Hangman. It's also a re-telling of Robin's origin story with more depth than we've ever seen before, and is the most effective aspect of the series. Dick Grayson becomes one of Bruce's only anchors left to humanity, and throughout the story we're given more substance to the Dynamic Duo's relationship than there was in the past.
