The actress famously took her deepest (and entirely non-famous) friend Laura Simpson as her date to the 2014 Oscars, and often chills out at major events with the locals; enjoying nothing more than a good laugh and joke before the serious stuff kicks off. Following the once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Kodak Theatre last year, Simpson spoke to various publications about her friendship with the star. She states they "met her seven years ago at an event where we both didn't know a single person. We hit it off over a mutual respect for Chandler Bing, and we've been eating pizza together ever since." Isn't it ironic how Friends made friends?
