2. Savannah (2013)

It may not be quite the worst movie on this list, but it sure is the most boring. Savannah follows the growing friendship of ex-slave Christmas Moultrie (Ejiofor) and duck hunter Ward Allen (Jim Cavaziel), but aside from some alluring cinematography, this one's an absolute snoozer.

It's hard to see what attracted Ejiofor and Cavaziel to the film, given the low-energy, largely emotionless narrative, shot through with dispassionate direction and a script that prioritisies contrivance and a terrible romance above all else.

As many reviewers commented at the time of its release, it's difficult to understand why this is really a movie at all, and there's a good reason why you've probably never heard of it.
