10 Best & 10 Worst Movies By Kingsman Actors

9. The Mummy (Sofia Boutella)

The Mummy
Universal

Poor Sofia Boutella. She really was trying here as the titular antagonist, and as intriguing as the idea of a female mummy is, Alex Kurtzman's rancid, Tom Cruise-starring reboot is an unintentionally hilarious bust from first minute to last.

Where to begin? Cruise is fatally miscast as an arrogant toolbag, Annabelle Wallis' female lead is utterly useless, the only significant person of colour in the entire movie is needlessly murdered before the end of act one, and the whole film basically serves as a sledgehammer-subtle commercial for Universal's planned Dark Universe.

At least Russell Crowe's having the time of his life hamming it up as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but his silly performance feels at odds with an overly self-serious and generic blockbuster mess.
