10. 2015's Best - Inside Out

Inside Out was an absolute triumph and a great commentary on the brilliance of the studio in itself, offering valuable insight into exactly why Pixar are so successful at story-telling. It's all about balance - Joy is important, but without Sadness, there's no balance and everything depends on the appeal to core memories and nostalgia.

Away from the meta commentary, it's a truly wonderful coming-of-age story that spins one girl's journey into puberty into something new and clever and refreshingly accessible. It's heartfelt, joyous and packs in one of the most devastating Pixar heartbreakers (Bing Bong!!!!) ever too.

It's right up there with the best of the decade.
