Yes, we all know Robert Pattinson got his big Hollywood break playing sparkling vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga. But not every actor can start in an incredible role. Everyone has to break their teeth (or fangs) somewhere; and besides, he was Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter franchise first.
After hanging up his cape and appearing in other teen dramas, Pattinson has since been on a mission to prove he's much more than another disposable romantic lead by subsequently appearing exclusively in indie films by auteur filmmakers.
Last year was an especially big year for the former Twilight star.
