10 Best Animated Comic Book Films Of The Decade

7. Justice League: Doom

Batman Under the Red Hood
Warner Bros.

Throughout this decade we have been treated to a procession of amazing Justice League animated movies. This one right here, was the one of the best among them. Based on the wildly popular Tower of Babel arc, it follows the world’s greatest heroes as they are under attack from one of their own.

Big bad immortal Vandal Savage has hijacked Batman’s contingency plans to stop the League if it ever went rogue and starts using it against them. From then on, it’s a classic superhero story where the good guys find their backs against the wall before rallying to overcome their foes.

A really nice epilogue scene at the end showed the heroes locked in a heated debate over whether Bruce was right or not. An argument that adds a beautiful hint of realism to the whole thing, further elevating everything that happened before.
