10 Best British Films Of The Last Decade

9. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows - Part 2

The Harry Potter franchise went out on an undeniable high with its eighth and final movie, which essentially served up two hours of pure payoff with zero filler.

Easily the most assured and exciting of all the Potter movies, Deathly Hallows Part 2 brings the titular wizard's journey to an end in bombastic and poignant fashion, thanks to strong performances across the board and David Yates' best direction in the entire series (yes, including Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them).

While the ill-advised epilogue sequence looks ever more daft with each passing year, for the most part this is an intense sprint of a movie that doesn't bog itself down in fantasy bloat. Above all else, it's the riveting finale fans deserved.
