To be honest, there are so many great CGI characters within the Marvel Cinematic Universe that you could likely fill out this entire article with them. While the plan here is to hold off on going full MCU obsessed, there has to be a place on this list for the wise-cracking, gun-toting Rocket Raccoon.

Voiced by Bradley Cooper and with motion capture work from Sean Gunn, Rocket has gone on to become a staple of pop culture these days. This, of course, being a character that even some comic book die-hards hadn’t even given a second thought to until James Gunn brought the Guardians of the Galaxy to big-screen life.

Up until Rocket’s appearance, the most well-known raccoon out there was likely Bert – ask your parents, kids – yet the appearances of Rocket in the MCU have given a huge boost in popularity to these thieving little furballs.

In Rocket Raccoon, film fans have a character full of humour, heart, and hand grenades. When it comes down to it, Rocket is one of those fascinating characters who always captures your imagination and attention when he’s in action.
