Christmas in Gotham was quite a sight to behold in Batman Returns: Danny DeVito was a better penguin than he had any right to be, and Michelle Pfiefer is still the hottest catwoman to grace the screen, in her faux BDSM outfit. Me-OW! Tim Burton's second Batman flick was actually a solid sequel, and it's a shame he never returned to the series - instead, Bat-fans wound up with two more films (and two more Batmans after Michael Keaton departed as well) that just didn't cut it - though Jim Carrey gave it the old college try. The burial of DeVito's penguin "at sea" by his adopted aquatic bird family, the action sequences, Pfiefer - everything just comes together in the perfect little package.
