7. Tony Montana Scarface
This Oliver Stone masterpiece created Tony Montana (brilliantly played by Al Pacino), the Cuban refugee who comes to America and ends up shooting his way to the top as a drug kingpin in Miami. Ah America, the land of opportunity. Along the way, he gets to tap his cigaro in Michele Pfeiffers astray. Ai Carrico! Tony, keeping to his native land, lights up his favorite Cubans (cigars and bad guys) throughout the movie. In the end, it was the pile of blow that drove him crazy, not the cigars. Just for the record.
6. John Hannibal Smith The A-Team
Another TV/Movie set-up here, with Hannibal being played by both George Peppard (the TV version) and Liam Neeson (the movie version). Once again, Im more partial to the TV version as George Peppard played the character first and I think better. When it was time for Hannibal to blow something up, hed like up a smoke to celebrate. Or use it to actually blow something up. He did a lot of blowing stuff up. Rumor has it that old Georgie was a sexist on the set, not wanting the ladies around to interfere with all the macho guy stuff going on. Im thinking more than cigar smoking was going on there.
