10 Best Con Man Movies

4. A Fish Called Wanda

Leonardo DiCaprio Catch Me If You Can

A Fish Called Wanda is a lot of things; a crackerjack heist plot, a hitman movie and an elaborate con - all under the guise of being one of the funniest movies of the 80s.

While barrister Archie Leach (John Cleese, and Cary Grant's real name) defends a jewel thief who stashed the loot, the criminal's two-timing girl Friday (Jamie Lee Curtis) tries to romance the location of the diamonds out of him. Alongside Curtis is a never better Kevin Kline as an American whose arrogance is only matched by his ignorance.

Allegiances shift, betrayals are made, dogs are murdered all while Cleese manages to play the consummate straight man - in some cases literally.
