10 Best ‘Dead And I Know It’ Moments In Zombie Movie History
3. Seok-woo - Train To Busan

Train To Busan follows Seo Seok-woo, a busy working dad, as a trip to reconnect with his daughter is interrupted by the zombie apocalypse. Through all the trials of surviving an infectious outbreak Seo manages to keep himself and his daughter safe, right up until he suffers a nasty bite.
Still reeling from his battle with the zombified Yon-suk, Seo leans on the train's railing and wobbles about until his bitten hand catches his eye. He freezes up and his eyes go wide, his mouth hanging open as he looks from his bite to his crying daughter and in that second he realises he’s not going to be able to protect her much longer.
He sees what he needs to do and storms toward the train’s controls, hurriedly showing Seong-kyeong how to drive the motor before going to bid farewell to his daughter. There he seems to have a second moment of realisation, where before he knew he was going to die, now she grabs his sleeves with her tiny hands and he realises this means that he is going to leave her.
In the ever-wise, ever-applicable words of Bart Simpson, “if you look closely you can actually pinpoint the exact moment his heart breaks in half” - and here it is when Seo has to pry his daughter’s hand from his sleeve. This scene has to get a place on the list because of the sheer emotive power. If you didn’t cry, you don’t have a heart.
