10 Best Documentarians In Found Footage Films

7. Angela Vidal (REC)

FilmaxFilmaxThe host of Spanish reality TV show €˜While You€™re Asleep€™, Angela Vidal begins REC as a fun presenter desperately in search of something interesting to film for the show. She may not actually hold the camera herself, but she certainly makes sure cameraman Pablo captures everything possible, once events turn suddenly nasty. On tonight€™s episode, Angela and Pablo are stationed at a firehouse when a call from an apartment finally means the firemen must leap into action. However, this is no ordinary call out and soon Angela, Pablo, one of the firemen and the apartment block residents are all trapped inside with an unknown number of terrifying zombies. While Angela and Pablo could have dropped the camera as soon as they realised they had been quarantined inside with the rabid ex-residents, Angela ensures Pablo keeps filming throughout the night. Even as they fight for their lives, Angela continues to do pieces to camera and ensures that people know how they were treated by the authorities. It€™s also lucky they kept the camera rolling, as when all the lights go out in the final scenes, Pablo€™s night vision camera is the only way they can see the horrors that lurk in the dark.
