10 Best Documentarians In Found Footage Films

5. Alan Yates (Cannibal Holocaust)

cannibal holocaustUnited ArtistsIf you thought Remy was bad, wait till you see what this sociopathic sadist gets up to. In Cannibal Holocaust, a small group of documentary makers led by Alan Yates set off for the Amazonian jungle in search of something to make them famous. When the peaceful tribes disappoint them, Yates burns down their village, forcing some of the tribes people to burn to death in their homes. This is just the kind of footage that Yates needs to show all those civilised folks back home just what a bunch of savages live out in the jungle! Not only that, but him and another member of the crew rape a tribeswoman, who is then later found impaled as punishment for adultery. Check out Yates€™ barely contained excitement when he sees the barbaric results. This crew of documentary makers really do get what they deserve by the end of the film and luckily enough for us, they had the decency to keep filming right to the bloody vicious end.
