10 Best Ever Live Action Movie Duologies

8. Happiness & Life During Wartime

Kill Bill
IFC Films

Directed by Todd Solondz whose movies are often termed as weird but not quite on flattering terms. Highly controversial at the time of its release and with good reasons, both movies are disturbing in the way it treats pedophilia, rape, and sexual themes. What makes them stand out is the matter of fact way it deals with the same.

Case in point, the scene where Bill (Dylan Baker) meets his son after coming out on bail for drug raping his classmate: his reaction when his son asks him if he would do the same to him pretty much sums up weird gonzo nature of the two movies.

It takes a while to get used to two different sets of actors are playing the same characters if the two movies are watched together. But once you do, it is a wonderful yet sad character study of characters who often have no redeeming qualities.

Alif Majeed hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
