10 Best Fake Sequels To Your Favourite Movies

8. The Bronx Bull Will Get You Raging

Martin Scorsese has never made a sequel. That's not surprising: Taxi Driver's ending doesn't lend itself to a continuation, and The Wolf Of Wall Street will only ever get a follow-up if the real-life Jordan Belfort does something interesting again. Goodfellas does technically have a semi-sequel, My Blue Heaven, which was also based on real-life gangster Henry Hill's life, only it was a Steve Martin comedy. The latter was a matter of coincidence, with both films entering production at the same time. It's rare that a true story would have enough material for a sequel. Although apparently the lack of real-life incidents shouldn't stop you from making a sequel to a biopic anyway, since in the past couple of years some filmmakers completely unrelated to Scorsese (or anyone else involved in the first film) have been making a sequel to boxing drama Raging Bull. The Bronx Bull is another nickname that Raging Bull boxer Jake LaMotta had during his time in the ring, and that's the name taken for the totally unrelated and unofficial sequel to Scorsese's film. But, before MGM sued them, it was going to be called the blatant Raging Bull II. Following LaMotta's life after what was covered in the first film, William Forsythe replaces Robert De Niro in the lead role and National Lampoon€™s Cattle Call director Martin Guigui is behind the camera. It is not great.
