10 Best ‘I’m Dead And I Know It’ Moments In Vampire Horror Movies
7. Vampires Vs. The Bronx - Tony
We all love a guy that keeps their sarcastic energy right to the end, and that’s what makes Tony’s death what it is in Vampires vs. the Bronx.
We’re introduced to Tony pretty early on as he is the owner of the local corner store due to close down. The locals are organising a block party to raise money to save the shop, showing that he’s a valued member of the community.
His pained interaction with Vivian as she stands in his store, not appearing on the CCTV due to her whole ‘being a vampire’ thing is comedy gold - with Tony trying his best not to give anything away but clearly failing.
Once he thinks he’s in the clear, his shop is plunged into darkness. He grabs his baseball bat, ready to defend himself until he sees that it’s vampire Vivian he’s up against. “s**t,” he says, before Vivian effectively disarms him, “you’ll never get them”. His last words are in defense of his beloved community before she brutally kills him. Oof.
