10 Best Movie Cameos Of 2018 (So Far)
2. Darth Maul - Solo: A Star Wars Story
Solo: A Star Wars Story concludes with a cameo that, while undeniable fan service, actually might've left fans half-interested in watching a Solo sequel.
After Han (Alden Ehrenreich) departs from Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke), she takes Dryden Vos' (Paul Bettany) place in the Crimson Dawn organisation and calls her new superior, who turns out to be Darth Maul (Ray Park).
It's an especially shocking moment as, unless you watch The Clone Wars, you probably assumed Maul was dead after being sliced in two in The Phantom Menace. To see the movies fully embracing the continuity of the wider universe was unexpected and, honestly, pretty awesome.
It's a shame the Solo sequel is most likely dead, because this was a great tease that'll most likely never amount to anything else, sadly.
