Perhaps the most consistent staple across the MCU is the presence of mid-and-post-credits scenes which hint at coming attractions, tie up less-urgent subplots and give patient audiences one final gag before leaving the cinema.

And while the majority of the franchise's movies feature one scene during the credits and one after, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 decided to do things a little differently, by peppering the lengthy end credits with a staggering five extra scenes.

These scenes are as follows: Kraglin (Sean Gunn) practises with a deceased Yondu's (Michael Rooker) telekinetic arrow, Ravager Stakar Ogord (Sylvester Stallone) meets up with his teammates (including Michelle Yeoh's Aleta Ogord), Groot (Vin Diesel) is now an irritable teenage tree, Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) observes the cocoon which will eventually create Adam Warlock, and the Watchers leave their informant (Stan Lee) stranded without a ride home.

All this in conjunction with the nifty credits themselves, which feature numerous cast members - including Thor: Ragnarok's Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) - dancing along to the David Hasselhoff-starring tune "Guardians Inferno", makes this the most entertaining end credits sequence in the entirety of the MCU to date.
