6. Terminator 3: The Coming Storm

There's no denying that Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines was a colossal disappointment compared to James Cameron's iconic predecessors, with excess comic relief working against its smarter and more creative ideas.

Uncanny Antman's 2008 re-edit of the film ditches all of the daft comic relief - such as Arnie's T-800 infamously donning a pair of Elton John-styled sunglasses and telling a 7/11 attendant to "Talk to duh hand" - while also trimming some of the continuity-derailing dates present throughout the film.

Though The Coming Storm is rather on the short side - given the theatrical cut's already short 109-minute runtime - it does feel like a more tonally consistent and fan-friendly iteration on the original film. It's still not great, but much, much tighter in all the right places.
