It was never going to reach the near unfathomable success of Frozen, but Disney's latest animated offering - their first based on a Marvel comic, don't you know? - is a worthy follow-up (though we're afraid to say that there's no singing). Big Hero 6, then, inspired by the comic book of the same name, tells the story of a young inventor and his loveable robot, Baymax, and their adventures in a future inspired by everything Japanese. If "Let It Go" was the masterstroke that ensured Frozen broke box office records, Baymax is the key to the success of Big Hero 6; certainly, he brings life and laughter to each and every scene he happens to be in (thankfully, it's a lot). Lovingly crafted - as all good science-fiction is - and visually stunning, Big Hero 6 is a heartfelt tale about a boy and his robot; the gags are sharp, and the film itself is super entertaining to boot.
