10 Best Superhero Movie Moments Of 2018
2. The End Credits Montage - Deadpool 2
Before you say it, Once Upon A Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are different movies, at least for the purposes of this list, OK? Moving on...
Picking a single moment from Deadpool 2 is tough, especially with the X-Force sequence being such an hysterical masterwork of shock comedy.
However, the edge has to just barely go to the credits montage of Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) using Cable's (Josh Brolin) time travel tech to, er, "fix the timeline."
Naturally set to Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time", the course-correction begins with him saving his beloved Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) from her original fridging, before telling Peter (Rob Delaney) to go home, killing the crappy "Barakapool" Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and finally murdering Ryan Reynolds before he can film the Green Lantern script.
Ryan Reynolds' self-deprecation knows no bounds, and the result is one of the most entertaining credits sequences in cinema history. Bravo.
