1. Negan – The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead has had an admirable run so far, with each season packed with lesser baddies, evil villains, and crazy maniacs. We’ve seen back-stabbing best friends try to steal Rick’s family, we’ve seen a crazy older brother mess with Daryl, crazy cops, man-eating men, and a deranged, insane self-made governor, who almost destroyed Rick and his group. There has been a whole lot of death and quite a few villain monologues.

So, now on season 7, you can imagine that truly shining as a villain through the endless list of those that have past so far is no easy task. Well Negan, who we have only seen in three episodes, has already gone above and beyond, and shown us that he is the toughest, scariest adversary Rick will ever face.

He’s clearly insane, with a constant smile on his face and a fun, outgoing personality. But he accepts no disrespect and won’t hesitate to kill or mentally destroy anyone who has wronged him. He brutally bashed Glenn and Abraham’s heads into the ground, and laughed about it afterwards. More recently we found that he simply took the wife of one of his followers, because that follower tried to escape. He’s intelligent, maniacal, happy, and calm all at the same time. He’s also the only enemy that has ever managed to completely break Rick, and scare him to a degree where he won’t even fight back.

I like to think of myself as a world traveler and social butterfly, although I do spend a lot of my time watching the latest Japanese anime series, sitcoms, movies, and drama series. I live on the island of Crete, where I was born, and enjoy walking on the beach with my little cocker spaniel, Molly, when I'm not writing for WhatCulture.com and UNILAD.co.uk.
