10 Big Movie Franchises Chris Pratt Can Try Next

9. Ghostbusters

Chris Pratt Films
Columbia

Rumour number 2; this time a starring role in one of the many reboots of Ghostbusters. A sequel to the 80's classics was the obvious choice with a reboot the second. But now in the age of shared universes we seem to be getting something more; a whole host of Ghostbusters movies. First up is Paul Feig's all female Ghostbusters, but then apparently audiences will also be getting a male version, only this time it will be different because there are only two Ghostbusters. Presumably because there can't be any argument over which character is the new Egon, Ray, Peter on Winston. Even more bizarrely will be an historical ghost story - Victorian Ghostbusters? - before all the teams unite for a shared movie Avengers style.

In the old movie rumour mill, the male Ghostbusters will apparently be written by original Ghostbusters scribe Ivan Reitman and directed by Captain America: The Winter Soldier's Joe and Anthony Russo - sometime after their Captain America follow-up and two-part Avengers: Infinity War we presume. Channing Tatum is the contender for one of the roles. The other... you guessed it. Mr Chris Pratt.

There is no denying that Pratt would bring the fun of Bill Murray's original Ghostbuster and his recent stints on Guardians Of The Galaxy and Jurassic World  will also give him the experience to take on the action elements of the movie. With Tatum at his side it could be a match made in heaven.
