10 Big Movie Franchises Chris Pratt Can Try Next

2. Power Rangers

Chris Pratt Films
Saban Entertainment

Power Rangers has gone through numerous incarnations but Hasbro's super powered-kid franchise is on the cusp of a big screen reinvention. If it wants to attract a huge audience, why not man of the moment Chris Pratt to play an older, more grizzled Red Power Ranger, called back to fight a new war decades after his high school days are over?

There is even a prototype film out there already on which the film could be based; Katee Sackhoff and James Van Der Beek's incredibly dark - and incredibly fun - short film set in a bleak future where the Power Rangers have faded from glory. It got such great reviews that it is fully deserving of a full feature version.

Bring back Sackhoff and Van Der Beek, add Pratt to the mix and you've got a mega franchise ripe for the taking.
