10 Biggest Actor Paychecks In Movie History

9. Harrison Ford - Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (2008): $65 Million

After years stuck in development hell, the long-rumored fourth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise finally hit theaters in 2008, a full 19 years after the original trilogy had finished on an almost-perfect note with the conclusion of Last Crusade. While the movie isn't as outright awful as many people would have you believe, it was certainly a disappointment given the impeccable quality of the first three movies. One thing that definitely wasn't disappointing (at least from his point of view), was the payday landed by leading man Harrison Ford for reprising his signature role. Ford, director Steven Spielberg and producer George Lucas all turned down their usual upfront salaries for a percentage of the profits so that studio Paramount would cover the production's hefty $185m budget, and when Kingdom of the Crystal Skull went on to gross $786.6m at the box office the three main players all scored a highly lucrative payday. Despite regularly commanding a fee of $20m per picture at the height of his fame, Ford landed the biggest single paycheck of his distinguished career when the movie netted him no less than $65m.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
