Get your baggy clothing and Britpop CDs on standby, because Captain Marvel is taking us back to the '90s.
Marvel Studios announced that the Brie Larson-fronted movie will take place a good two decades before the Avengers assembled during its Comic-Con panel, and shared a few other tidbits from the girl power project.
Chief among them is the inclusion of a two-eyed Nick Fury. That's right, Samuel L Jackson is reprising his role as the SHIELD agent for the first time since Age of Ultron, and we may even get to see how he lost his left peeper on screen.
It was also revealed that the alien race known as the Skrulls will serve as Captain Marvel's villains, which means Marvel have put some time in around the debating table with Fox's top brass to thrash out a loan deal for the Fantastic Four foes.
