10 Biggest Comic-Con 2017 Reveals

DC is aiming to steal Thor's thunder and ensure lighting strikes twice following Wonder Woman's success with Justice League, and its latest trailer was suitably epic.

Along with the bevy of superhero team-up action we were expecting, the film's second full trailer give us our first look at the movie's villain, Steppenwolf.

That's cool and everything, but the biggest talking point from the footage is that it could be hinting at the surprise inclusion of a seventh hero, alongside Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the inevitably returning Superman.

A raspy reference about "Lanterns" from Steppenwolf is all it has taken to reignite rumours that the original Green Lantern, Abin Sur, will be making an appearance in Justice League's final act.

Given that one of the very earliest taglines for the film was 'Unite the seven', we'd say there's something in this.

And as for Superman's obvious resurrection, that also appears to have been teased by Jeremy Irons's Alfred, although why he choses to present himself to Batman's butler remains a mystery.
